SWEET 16 MATCHUPS

(1) BRANDON ROY VS. (4) MARVIN WILLIAMS

Dickau's details:

Roy, Garfield (2002)
"Although he never won 'Mr. Basketball' he put together a great high school career at Garfield. His career took off at UW where he became an All-American leading to be the 6th pick in the NBA Draft. He became an All-Star for the Blazers but knee injuries cut his career short."

Williams, Bremerton (2004)
"Versatile, do-it-all wing for Bremerton who went on to play at North Carolina where he was an instrumental part of NCAA Tournament teams. Has carved out a long NBA career."

RESULTS:

Note: Brandon Roy won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 416-71.

(2) DEJOUNTE MURRAY VS. (3) NATE ROBINSON

Dickau's details:

Murray, Rainier Beach (2015)
"Ultra-athletic and smooth but don't overlook his skillset. Murray won three state titles and kept the Rainier Beach to UW pipeline going. He is now a tremendous player for the San Antonio Spurs."

Robinson, Rainier Beach (2002)
"Maybe the greatest athlete ever in any sport from the state. Originally went to UW for football but ended up being a key "cog in the wheel" in Washington's NCAA Tourney runs. Has played nearly 10 seasons in the NBA as an undersized guard who never backs down from any challenge."

RESULTS:

Note: Nate Robinson won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 386-126.
