Highlights: Federal Way downs Battle Ground, advances to 4A boys basketball state quarterfinals
TACOMA - Federal Way handily defeated Battle Ground 78-57 in Wednesday night's opening round of the 4A boys basketball state tournament at the Tacoma Dome. The Eagles will face Mount Si in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
Jaylen-Wes Williams led the balanced scoring attack for the Eagles with 18 points, while Peter Erickson chipped in 15 and Jared Franklin and Bradley Graham each added 12.
Kaden Perry had another huge game for Battle Ground, leading all scorers and rebounders with 26 points and 16, boards including some impressive dunks and high-flying blocks.
