PACIFIC PALISADES– In the third quarter of the CIF Division IV Southern Regional title game, Sheldon Zanders and Graham Alphson connected on an alley-oop for Palisades to send the crowd into a frenzy and spark a 10-2 run.
Pali went on to lose the game against Bakersfield Christian, but the boost from the highlight play helped keep them in the game until late in the fourth quarter.
As you can see from both the video and the photo, the home crowd approved.
Alphson led Pali with 14 points, and Zanders was second with 10.
