Look: Cooper Flagg drops 38-point near-quadruple-double at Peach Jam

One of nation's top 2025 basketball prospects making strong argument for No. 1 overall

Newport, Maine stand up.

Cooper Flagg is a consensus top-two prospect in the nation in 2025 and is making a strong case for the No. 1 overall billing with his play to open Peach Jam.

Playing with Maine United, Flagg is averaging 22 points, 6.3 assists and 8.0 blocks per game at Peach Jam.

He leads the entire under-16 age group at the vaunted Nike EYBL tournament in South Carolina in those three categories, and turned heads Wednesday when he led Maine United to a win over NightRydas, led by Cameron and Cayden Boozer. Flagg dropped 21 points, 10 boards and seven assists.

Cameron Boozer is the other consensus top-two prospect who some recruiting sites tab as the No. 1 player in the nation in 2025, and had an equally impressive outing.

On Thursday, the 6-8, 195-pound Flagg took it to another level.

The Montverde Academy (Florida) rising junior had 38 points, 11 boards, six assists and 11 blocks — including the game-winning block as time expired — to beat ProSkills from Texas.
