SUN VALLEY– Behind a lot of energy and inspired play on both ends, Village Christian shocked Heritage Christian in the last minute to take their first league matchup.
Heritage Christian led by ten points in the second quarter, but Village Christian erased the lead before the half was over and it was neck-and-neck for the rest of the game. Powel Mousaian led the Crusaders with 19 points on a hot shooting night from deep.
