LOS ANGELES– Sherisse Chensam led the way with 19 points as Hamilton knocked off Crenshaw in an L.A. City Section girls basketball quarterfinal. Hamilton was without star forward Kennedee Rankin, and had three players in double-figures in her absence.
Trinity Conner had a 14-point double-double for the Lady Yankees and Sydney Blevins scored ten points. Kailyn Watkins led Crenshaw with 17 points.
