ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Servite senior Chris Grothues and junior Colin Galvin combined to pitch the Friars to a 3-2 victory over Santa Margarita on Friday. The win earned Servite a sweep of Santa Margarita after the Friars had beaten the Eagles on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Servite head coach Shawn Gilbert discussed the win after the game. He talked about the Friars' resiliency, the play of freshman Miles Scott, and Servite's pitching.
