California Wrestling rankings: The top individuals from each weight class

Here's the best from the Golden State, all ranked among the Top 25 nationally by SBLive Sports

Ranking the elite from the wrestling ranks nationally is a very tough task.

Yet our weekly SBLive Sports National Wrestling Rankings are compiled each week by Billy Buckheit, a Maryland based wrestling journalist who has been doing rankings and tournament seedings for local and national events for nearly two decades.

We've singled out every California wrestler in this week's Top 25 in each weight class and present them below.

There are 30 Golden State graplers overall, at least one in every weight class, with the most (four) at 144 class.

There is only one national No. 1 ranked wrestler from California and he is  senior Beau Mantonnoa, of Palm Desert, at 150.
