CIF Central Section 2023 boys basketball playoff brackets: Scores, matchups, game times
The brackets for the 2023 CIF Central Section boys basketball playoffs have been finalized. First-round matchups start Feb. 15 and conclude Feb. 24-25.

Defending section champions are Clovis West (Open), Bakersfield Christian (Division 1), Mt. Whitney (D2), Golden Valley (D3), Garces Memorial (D4) and Central Valley Christian (D5).
There is no Open Division in 2023. Instead, those top teams are all part of a loaded Division 1 field that includes top seed Clovis West, followed by No. 2 Clovis North, No. 3 St. Joseph-Santa Maria and No. 4 Centennial-Bakersfield.
