CIF Central Coast Section 2023 boys basketball playoff brackets: Scores, matchups, game times
The brackets for the 2023 CIF Central Coast Section boys basketball playoffs have been finalized. First-round matchups start Feb. 17 and conclude Feb. 25.

Defending section champions are Archbishop Riordan (Open Division), Menlo-Atherton (Division 1), Lynbrook (D2), Burlingame (D3), Menlo School (D4) and Priory (D5).
Archbishop Mitty and Riordan are the top two seeds in the Open Division after tying for the championship of the West Catholic Athletic League title. The teams split their last two games with Mitty winning the last meeting, 43-37, just last week.
Thus Mitty was given the top seed over No. 2 Riordan, which beat the Monarchs in last year's CCS Open final, giving the Crusaders their first CCS Open crown (they had won 16 previous titles at different division levels).
Other teams selected to the Open Division were No. 3 Sacred Heart Prep (17-6), No. 4 Serra (14-10), No. 5 St. Ignatius (13-11), No. 6 Menlo-Atherton (21-3), No. 7 Sacred Heart Cathedral (13-11) and No. 8 Santa Cruz (22-4).
All eight teams, which will participate in pool play, will automatically advance to the CIF Northern California regional in two weeks.
