Vote now: Who was the player of the year in California high school softball in 2023?

Our ballot consisted of player of the year Sophia Mariotinni (Hollister) and runner-up Randi Roelling (Central Catholic). Now, it's your turn to vote

Last week, we put out our 2023 all-state softball teams, which included first team, second team, third team, and honorable mentions. Hollister's Sophia Mariotinni was named the statewide player of the year, and Randi Roelling of Central Catholic was our runner-up.

Now it's time for you, the fans, to let your voices be heard. Through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, you can vote as many times as you'd like for the candidate(s) that you think earned player of the year honors. The candidate pool consists of every player recognized on our all-state teams, where you can find a description of each candidate's 2023 resume.

Keep your eyes out in the coming weeks as the rest of SBLive's softball awards and corresponding polls are released.
