CIF State 2024 basketball championship schedule for March 8-9 at Golden 1 Center

The official schedule for the CIF State boys and girls basketball championships at the Golden 1 Center, home of the NBA's Sacramento Kings

The California high school basketball season is finally coming to an end Friday and Saturday at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento at the CIF State finals.

Twelve champions will be crown in boys and girls basketball in six different divisions, from Division V (the lowest) to the Open Division (highest).

The Southern and Northern California regional finals were played Tuesday (with the exception of one). Teams will make the quick turnaround to play in the season's final game and hope to lift the prestigious CIF State plaque.

All games will be televised on Spectrum and streamed live on NFHS Network.

Here is the official championship schedule for Friday and Saturday (March 8-9).

FRIDAY, MARCH 8

10 a.m. Division V Girls – Montgomery, San Diego (25-11) vs. Oakland (22-10)

12 p.m. Division V Boys – Verdugo Hills (25-11) vs. Athenian (27-8)

2 p.m. Division III Girls – Granada Hills Charter (21-11) vs. Caruthers (24-8)

4 p.m. Division III Boys – Alemany (24-15) vs. Santa Cruz (27-6)

6 p.m. Division I Girls – Bishop Montgomery (22-5) vs. Bishop O’Dowd (24-6)

8 p.m. Division I Boys – St. John Bosco (27-7) vs. San Ramon Valley (29-7)

SATURDAY, MARCH 9

10 a.m. Division IV Girls – Grossmont (27-8) vs. winner of St. Bernard’s/Arcata (3/6 7 pm)

12 p.m. Division IV Boys – Chatsworth (20-14) vs. Monterey (24-6)

2 p.m. Division II Girls – Harvard-Westlake (18-18) vs. Colfax (34-2)

4 p.m. Division II Boys – Centennial, Bakersfield (28-7) vs. Oakland Tech (29-5)

6 p.m. Open Division Girls – Etiwanda (31-3) vs. Archbishop Mitty (30-0)

8 p.m. Open Division Boys – Harvard-Westlake (32-3) vs. Salesian College Prep (31-1)
