Here are this week's nominees:

Louby Bastien, Golden Gate: Had a team-best 10 tackles, including eight solo, in a 63-14 win over Palmetto Ridge.

James Brockmeier, Gulf Coast: Made nine tackles and grabbed an interception in a loss to Barron Collier.

Jayce Cora, Lely: Recovered a fumble and also caught a touchdown pass in a win over Immokalee.

Eric Fletcher, Dunbar: Returned a kickoff for the game-winning touchdown with seven seconds left against Lehigh.

Jyden German, Fort Myers: Had a 76-yard interception return touchdown in a win over Cape Coral.

Josh Guitard, Barron Collier: Finished with 14 tackles to lead the Cougars to a 28-21 win over Gulf Coast.

Marcus Kelley, Jr., Mariner: Returned an interception to the end zone, then ran in the ensuing two-point conversion against South Fort Myers.

Collin Meagher, Canterbury: His 90-yard interception return TD helped the Cougars win the Sunshine State Athletic Conference Class 2A state title.

Tyler Rosenthal, Aubrey Rogers: Intercepted four passes and returned one for a score in a 36-0 win.

Jack Shuker, Evangelical Christian: Had a 97-yard kickoff return touchdown and a 70-yard TD reception in a loss to CSN.

Justin Trometer, Estero: Led the Wildcats to a 42-10 by making 18 tackles, 11 of them solo.
