Vote: Who should be SBLive’s Central Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Week (2/5/2024)?

We’ve selected 17 candidates for your voting consideration

Central Florida High girls’ basketball players continue to shine as they head into the postseason this week.

We looked at teams from Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard, and Indian River counties and nominated 17 athletes for the SBLive Central Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 29-Feb. 3, 2024.

We ask you, the fan, to decide who should the top player selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 11:59pm and will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Natalie Doan, Guard, Mount Dora Christian: Junior scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs past Umatilla, 55-33.

Molly Beliveau, Utility, The First Academy-Leesburg: Senior pumped in 13 points to propel the Eagles past All Saints Academy, 34-3. She also had 11 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double in a 59-27 win against Crooms Academy (Sanford).

Ava Pazos, Guard, Olympia (Orlando): Sophomore recorded 12 points, five rebounds and five assists to pace the Titans past Foundation Academy (Winter Garden), 54-49.

McKenna Murphy, Guard, Boone (Orlando): Senior scored 19 points to lead the Braves past Horizon (Winter Garden), 62-42.

Molly Smith, Guard/Forward, Horizon (Winter Garden): Senior notched 15 points in a loss to Boone.

Kylie Kitts, Forward, Hagerty (Oviedo): The 6-2 senior recorded 14 points in a loss to Boone.

Avery Michels, Guard, Foundation Academy (Winter Garden): Fantastic freshman dropped 29 points on The Villages Charter in a 54-45 victory.

Faith Wener, Shooting Guard, City of Life Christian (Kissimmee): The 6-2 senior exploded for 27 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double and added five steals to pace the Warriors past Cornerstone Charter, 57-16.

Jada Eads, Point Guard, Lake Highland Prep (Orlando): The 5-7 senior notched 22 points and five rebounds to lead the Highlanders past Colonial (Orlando), 71-58.

Hailey Hunt, Point Guard, East Ridge (Clermont): Senior turned in another strong effort with 14 points and eight assists to propel the Knights past Hope Prep Academy, 62-41.

Kendall Brown, Utility, Hope Prep Academy (Groveland): Sophomore scored 20 points in a loss to East Ridge.

Mi’Yauna Ross, Utility, DeLand: The freshman pumped in 13 points to lead the Bulldogs past Seabreeze (Daytona Beach), 38-19.

Jaloni Cambridge, Point Guard, Montverde Academy: The senior from Nashville scored 15 points to rally the Eagles past upset-minded Palm Bay, 56-55.

Erynn Moffett, Guard/Forward, Palm Bay: Pumped in 16 points to lead the Pirates past Holy Trinity Episcopal (Melbourne), 62-40.

Jaida Williams-Goins, Point Guard, Rockledge: The talented senior erupted for 40 points, four rebounds, four assists and nine steals to lead the Raiders past Merritt Island, 64-23.

Ekklesia Anderson, Guard, Vero Beach: Freshman poured in 19 points, including four 3-pointers, and grabbed two rebounds in a 52-48 loss to Cocoa.

Samiya Adams, Guard, Sebastian River: Junior recorded 12 points, three rebounds and two assists to spark the Sharks past Melbourne, 49-33.
