This spring marks the inaugural season for girls flag football in Southwest Florida. SBLive is keeping up with all of the action and will be publishing a weekly Player of the Week poll.

Below you will find the nominees for the first poll of the season. You can help decide the winner by voting now through Sunday, March 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Here are this week's nominees:

Kenlee Dominguez, North Fort Myers: Had her team's only TD in a 6-0 win over Mariner, plus eight tackles on defense.

Syke Douglass: Fort Myers: Tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another score for the 3-0 Green Wave.

Jamiyah Francois, East Lee: Grabbed two interceptions and returned one for a score to lead the Jaguars.

Ella Hillard, Estero: Pick off a pass and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown in a 14-0 win over Gateway.

Serenity Jackson, Lehigh: Pulled down three interceptions plus four receptions vs. Dunbar.

Audrianna Lopez, Mariner: Had four tackles, four pass breakups and an interception in her first career game.

Bella Martinez, Bonita Springs: Hauled in three interceptions plus a tackle for loss and pass breakup in a win over Lehigh.

Olivia Mena, Ida Baker: Had 30 receiving yards, 28 rushing yards, plus a pick-six in a 12-0 win over Cape Coral.

Kasey Morisset, Cypress Lake: Scored touchdowns in back-to-back games for the Panthers last week.
