LAKELAND, FLORIDA- The high school basketball state semifinals and championships arrived to Polk County last week, with some great individual performances along the way.
SBLive Sports Florida was on hand at the RP Funding Center to checkout the state semifinals, championship games and we plucked out eight names that we felt stood out to us.
We ask you the fans to decide, who was the top boys performer at the FHSAA basketball state finals 7A-5A? Checkout our list of names and vote for who you think did the best. Voting ends on March 17th, 11:59 p.m.

Here are the nominations:
Cameron Boozer, Columbus: From leading the Explorers in scoring to the game tying basket in regulation, Boozer did it all. The forward scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds leading Columbus to the 7A title.
Cayden Boozer, Columbus: The Explorers point guard was crucial in the team’s victory over Oak Ridge, scoring 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Cameron Simpson, Oak Ridge: Simpson did everything he could to lead the Pioneers to a state championship. The guard hit 4-of-7 3-pointers, scoring a team-high 19 points.
Jamier Jones, Oak Ridge: Jones helped lead the charge in a comeback attempt for Oak Ridge, scoring 16 points and knocking down five 3-pointers.
Jeremy Elyzee, Pembroke Pines Charter: Playing all 32 minutes for the Jaguars, Elyzee helped lift the team to the 6A state championship, scoring a game-high 22 points.
Donovan Williams Jr., Edgewater: Though the Fightin’ Eagles comeback attempt came up short, Williams Jr. was superb for Edgewater. The guard scored a team-high 17 points along with three rebounds.
Triston Wilson, Miami Norland: Leading the way to the Vikings state championship win, Wilson scored a game-high 21 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Kentrwll Martin, Blake: Martin played from start to finish for the Yellow Jackets in their 5A state title loss to Miami Norland. The guard finished with 16 points and five rebounds.
