Vote: Who should be SBLive’s Central Florida Baseball Player of the Week (3/12/2024)

We’ve selected 25 candidates for your voting consideration

Central Florida high school baseball players continue to shine at the plate, in the field, and on the mound this season.

We looked at teams from multiple counties and nominated 25 athletes for the SBLive Central Florida Baseball Player of the Week for March 4-9, 2024.

We ask you, the fan, to decide who should the top player selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 17, at 11:59pm and will be announced in next week’s poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. The poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Quentin Berry, Utility, Trinity Christian: Super sophomore went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead the Eagles past Pine Ridge, 2-1, in an-all Deltona battle.

Ethan Rathmann, Centerfielder, Olympia (Orlando): Sophomore slugged a home run and scored three runs to lead the Titans past Harmony, 12-1.

Max Murray, Utility, Hagerty (Oviedo): Ripped two doubles and drove in two runs to lead the Huskies past Seminole (Sanford), 11-0, in a Seminole County game.

Nathaneal Davis, Utility, Trinity Prep (Winter Park): Sophomore went 2-for-4 with a triple and one run scored to guide the Saints past Bishop Moore (Orlando), 4-1, in a battle of Orange County private schools.

Ty Arafet, P/1B, The First Academy: Sophomore went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI to lead the Royals past Lake Highland Prep, 8-6, in a battle of Orlando private schools.

Ryley Chapman, IF, Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs): Senior went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI to help the Patriots march past Lake Howell (Winter Park), 11-0.

Santiago Carruci, 3B/P, Cornerstone Charter (Belle Isle): Sophomore smashed a double, scored a run, and drove in three runs to lead the Ducks past Legacy Charter (Ocoee), 9-8.

Kaiden Lopez, P/OF, Oviedo: Senior went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, two runs scored and four RBI to guide the Lions past Lyman (Longwood), 12-7. Earlier, he had a double, one run scored, one RBI and struck out six in three innings to pick up the win in a in a 3-1 victory against Timber Creek (Orlando).

Rylee Gibson, P/1B, Foundation Academy (Winter Garden): Junior right-hander turned in a stellar performance by going 2-for-3 with a double and pitching a complete game, three-hitter, striking out nine, in a 1-0 shutout of Beachside.

Justin Earle, OF/P, Mount Dora Christian: Star senior went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs scored and one RBI to propel the Bulldogs past Tavares, 14-2.

Kyle Warner, OF/1B, Mount Dora Christian: Senior went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Bulldogs past Tavares.

Cannon Feazell, P, Windermere High: Senior struck out seven in five innings to pick up the win in a 5-1 victory against Spruce Creek (Port Orange).

Tyler Spaid, P, Apopka: Sophomore right-hander fanned seven batters in four innings to pick up the win in a 3-2 victory against West Orange (Winter Garden).

Shayne Craft, P, Dr. Phillips (Orlando): Senior right-hander struck out eight in four innings to help the Panthers beat Wekiva (Apopka), 7-6.

Bryant Boston, OF, East Ridge (Clermont): Senior went 4-for-5 to lead the Knights past Freedom (Orlando), 7-4.

Ryan Burgoon, IF/P, East River (Orlando): Senior went 3-for-4 with a double and the game-winning RBI to help the Falcons nip Bishop Moore (Orlando), 3-2.

Michael Senay, P/OF, East River (Orlando): The 6-foot-2 junior right-hander struck out 12 and allowed just one hit in five innings to guide the Falcons past Bishop Moore (Orlando), 3-2.

Mason Draper, P, DeLand: Struck out four in six innings to pick up the win in a 2-0 shutout of New Smyrna Beach.

Kenny Capria, Utility, Pine Ridge (Deltona): Junior exploded at the plate, going 3-5 with a double, triple, two runs scored and three RBI to lift the Panthers past Mount Dora High, 9-1.

Logan Bowling, P, Umatilla: The 6-2 senior fireballer fanned eight batters in 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win in a 4-3 victory against Ocoee.

Tate Haag, P, New Smyrna Beach: Hurled a three-hit, six-inning shutout, striking out five, in a 10-0 victory against Seabreeze (Daytona Beach).

Jonathan Matos, C/1B, Rockledge: Junior went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run scored and one RBI to lead the Raiders (9-0) past Merritt Island, 5-1.

Caden Jensen, P, Viera: Junior right-hander struck out nine, allowing just one hit through five innings, in a 9-3 victory against Melbourne.

Coleton Lynch, 2B/Utility, Eau Gallie (Melbourne): Senior went 2-for-3 with two RBI to guide the Commodores past Bayside (Palm Bay), 6-4.

Peter Grispo, Utility, The Master’s Academy (Vero Beach): Went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI to lead the Patriots past the Brevard HEAT, 15-2.
