The Florida High School Softball season is in full swing and we continue with our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state.

This week we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s Florida Panhandle High School Softball Player of the Week award from March 11-16, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 24th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Kara Wine, C/3B, Tate: In three games last week, Wine recorded four hits including a double and a home run. She stole one base, scored two runs and had five RBIs.

Leila Ammon, RHP/OF/1B, Gulf Breeze: Ammon recorded eight hits in four games last week. Three of those hits were a double and she also hit one triple. In the win over Vancleave (MS), she drove in two runs to help lead the Dolphins to victory. She also pitched 21.2 innings last week over three games. Ammon only allowed five hits, three runs and recorded 30 strikeouts.

Abigail Santos-Ruiz, Choctawhatchee: In their win over Walton, Santos-ruiz recorded two hits, one home run and three RBIs.

Hayley Sexton, Arnold: Sexton recorded five hits, two doubles and three RBIs in the two wins for the Marlins.

Bre Clark, Arnold: In a defensive battle versus South Walton, Clark pitched seven innings while allowing two hits and striking out 11 batters.

Autumn Anderson, C/INF, Milton: In three games, Anderson recorded seven hits, one home run, three doubles and eight RBIs.

Kiley Edwards, Paxton: In the win over Ponce De Leon, Edwards was 2-4 with one extra base hit, and she drove in three runs. She was also a threat once she got on base as she also added a stolen base to her name.

Ella Nelson, Jay: Nelson was 3-3 with one home run, three RBIs and she scored two runs in the win over Paxton.

Cheyenne Wilson, SS/2B, Vernon: Wilson recorded six hits, two home runs and 11 RBIs in three games last week. She also stole four bases and scored five runs.

Titera Duke, 3B/UTIL, Pensacola Catholic: Dukes recorded seven hits, four home runs, three more extra base hits and had 15 RBIs in two dominant wins for the Crusaders.
