THREE TO SEE
Nick Gardinera, running back
Made a name for himself with 1,153 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns during his sophomore campaign.
Rashad Griffin Jr, wide receiver
Should put up huge numbers with the experienced returning cast around him.
Mekhi Shaw, cornerback/wide receiver
Back healthy for his senior year, should have a big impact on both sides of the ball.
OUTLOOK
The Scripps Ranch offense was good last season but should take a big step forward in 2019 with talented returners at every key position.
Returning eight of their nine leading tacklers from 2018, the Falcons should improve on the 18.8 points per game they allowed last season.
With so much experience returning, Scripps Ranch should be able to navigate thru a winnable schedule and surpass last year’s win total.
