Cade McConnell QB

McConnell played all of last season after tearing his ACL for the second time just days before the season. He’s a warrior and he’s healthier than ever as the 2019 season begins. Last year, McConnell threw for 1,880 yards and 23 TDs.

Malachi Nelson QB

Nelson is a freshman who already holds a scholarship offer
from Auburn. McConnell is the starter, but Nelson could still see time. Ray
Fenton has used multiple quarterbacks in the past.

OUTLOOK

Los Alamitos will be a tough team to beat and they have an outside shot at a division championship. The Griffins first three games will reveal a lot in terms of how much talent this team really has. Los Alamitos opens on the road against San Diego power Torrey Pines and then plays Vista Murrieta and Long Beach Poly.
