Led the Cougars in tackles last season while also averaging 19 yards per catch.

Antoine Walker, defensive back

OUTLOOK

Steele Canyon ran the ball almost 80-percent of the time last season and should replicate that this season with Neely and Akintunde returning at running back.

The Cougars defense allowed 21 points per game while playing a very good schedule. They return 9 starters from that defense including their 3 leading tacklers.

Steele Canyon took down Helix last season to share the Grossmont – Hills League Championship. This season will be even tougher as the bottom half of the league has taken a step forward.
