THREE TO SEE

Mateo La, running back

Expected to carry the rushing load as the Titans lost six of their seven leading rushers.

Jackson Daley, lineman

A tight end last year, will now be a top contributor on both sides of the line.

Maximus Susi, linebacker

With the graduation of All-CIF linebacker Josh McCurty, Susi is next up in line to lead the Titans defense.

OUTLOOK

The Titans will be playing one of the county’s top schedules but will need inexperienced players to step up at several key positions to compete.

Coming off of a 10-2 season where the defense allowed eleven points per game, Eastlake will bring in seven new starters on defense. Talented sophomores Christian Aguilar and Trey White are among those looking to secure their spots.

If the Titans can stay healthy through the non-conference part of their schedule, they look to be the favorites to win a 2nd consecutive Metro- Mesa League Title.
