THREE TO SEE

Bryce Young QB

USC commit. Threw for 3,846 yards and 39 TDs last season. Bruce Rollinson says Young will “have the keys to the race car” in 2019.

Raesjon Davis OLB

A consensus national top recruit in the 2021 class. Davis
made 20.5 tackles for loss last season.

Myles Murao T

Washington commit. Missed a lot of the season last year with a broken leg. 100-percent healthy for 2019. Murao is one of the top tackles in the nation.

OUTLOOK

Mater Dei is loaded once again.

Bryce Young is one of the best quarterbacks in the history of California high school football. Both the offensive and defensive lines are stacked with Division I talent. The Monarchs’ secondary is the best in the region.

How well the young receiving corps plays will determine if Mater Dei will be section and state champions for the third year in a row.
