Senior ILB Dean Neeley discussed the win and his time at Mater Dei.
MISSION VIEJO– We caught up with Mater Dei captain and middle linebacker Dean Neeley after their 49-24 blowout against Mission Viejo in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 semifinals. Neeley, a senior, spoke to us about the victory, and also what it's like to have come to the last one or two games of his high school career.
Mater Dei will face St. John Bosco in the Division 1 finals, where they beat them last year. If they win, they will likely have a rematch against De La Salle in the state title game.
