Using a seven-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft from CBS Sports, Scorebook Live California’s Bodie DeSilva breaks down which players with San Diego high school football ties have a shot at hearing their names called in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Terrell Burgess - San Marcos/Utah - DB - 5-11, 202 LBS - projected 3rd round pick

Burgess was a two-time All-CIF selection for San Marcos before heading to Utah. Burgess played in 45 games for the Utes, recorded 116 career tackles and was named All Pac-12 honorable mention in 2019.

Burgess has been mocked anywhere from the end of the first round through the fourth round. The CBS Sports mock draft predicts that the Denver Broncos will take Burgess with the 95th overall selection.

Casey Toohill - Cathedral Catholic/Stanford - LB - 6-4, 250 LBS - projected 7th round pick

Toohill had 12 sacks as a senior for the Dons and was an All-CIF selection before heading to Stanford. Toohill was a three-time All-Academic selection in the Pac-12 and recorded 14.5 sacks over his four seasons for the Cardinal.

Toohill has been mocked from the fifth round through the seventh round. The CBS Sports mock draft predicts that the New Orleans Saints will take Toohill with their seventh round selection.

Luq Barcoo - Castle Park/Grossmont College/San Diego State - DB - 6-1, 175 LBS - projected 6th round to undrafted free agent

Barcoo headed to Grossmont College after finishing at Castle Park and eventually found his way to San Diego State. Barcoo had a huge senior, leading the nation in interceptions and pass deflections and was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press.

Barcoo has been mocked from the sixth round to being an undrafted free agent. His name has come up a lot in recent weeks as being one of the draft's top sleepers.

Dezmon Patmon - Patrick Henry/Washington State - WR - 6-4, 225 LBS - projected 7th round to undrafted free agent

Patmon reeled in 19 touchdown receptions during his final two seasons at Patrick Henry before heading to Washington State. He became a primary target for the Cougars over the past two seasons finishing with 1,976 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Patmon has been mocked from the seventh round to an undrafted free agent.

Jace Whittaker - Oceanside/Arizona - DB - 5-10, 185 LBS - projected 7th round to undrafted free agent

Whittaker played in 49 games for the Wildcats, battling injuries in 2018 but bounced back with his best season as a redshirt senior in 2019. Whittaker finished his collegiate career with 159 tackles and seven interceptions.

Whittaker has been mocked anywhere from a fourth round selection to an undrafted free agent.

Dominick Wood-Anderson - Steele Canyon/Arizona Western College/Tennessee - TE - 6-4, 261 LBS - projected undrafted free agent

Wood-Anderson became the top junior college tight end in the country during his time at Arizona Western College. He played for the Volunteers this past season, catching 17 passes and three touchdowns.

Wood-Anderson is projected to be an undrafted free agent.
