2021 Eastvale Roosevelt quarterback Xavier Ward committed to Washington State on Thursday, he announced on social media.

Ward is a 3-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He's 247's 44th rated pro-style quarterback in the 2021 class. Ward threw for 2,044 yards and 14 touchdowns a year ago for Roosevelt.
