Congratulations to Central-Carroll baseball pitcher Jacob Muse for being voted SBLive’s Georgia High School Athlete of the Week for March 7-13!

The senior led his team in multiple ways in a win over Pickens. He threw a shutout on the mound while helping himself out at the plate by going 4-for-4.

Muse ran away with this week's honor, receiving 92.34% of the total vote.

Jania Akins, Norcross girls basketball

Akins came up big in the clutch for Norcross, scoring 11 of her 14 points in the fourth quarter to help Norcross capture its first title since 2013.

Georgia Bosart, Lake Oconee Academy girls basketball

Bosart had the game of a lifetime with 17 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block to help Lake Oconee capture its first state title.

Sydney Bowles, Woodward Academy girls basketball

Bowles did it all for her team with 19 points, seven boards and six assists to help capture back-to-back state titles for Woodward.

Kara Dunn, Mount Paran girls basketball

Dunn went off versus Hebron with 30 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Her performance helped Mount Paran capture its first state title.

Nathan Dvorsky, Lambert baseball

The Clemson commit threw a complete game no-hitter versus Gainesville. He rang up 15 strikeouts and was a hit-by-pitch away from a perfect game.

Avery Fantucci, Marist girls basketball

Fantucci went for 19 points and seven boards and hit two buzzer-beaters to take down Luella for the state championship.

Jalen Forrest, Greenforest boys basketball

Forrest’s game-high 26 points along with his six rebounds and two steals were big in holding off King’s Ridge for the Class A Private state title.

Layla Hood, Lovejoy girls basketball

Hood helped Lovejoy capture its first state title since 2018, picking up a double-double of 14 points with 16 boards.

Kate Jackson, Lumpkin County girls basketball

Jackson secured a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in Lumpkin County's state championship win over Greater Atlanta Christian.

London Johnson, Norcross boys basketball

Johnson led Norcross to a 7A state title and filled up the stat sheet with a game-high 27 points along with eight boards, two assists and four steals.

Kory Mincy, Tri-Cities boys basketball

Mincy dropped 19 points with five assists and four steals to help Tri-Cities get its revenge over Eagle's Landing for last year’s title game loss.

Kole Orshoski, Alexander baseball

Orshoski threw a complete game, striking out eight and allowing only one run.

Chloe Perryman, Brookwood track and field

Perryman won the girls long jump at the Big Orange Relays with a school-record 18-8 1/2, which is tops in Class 7A this season.

Gavin Settle, Allatoona baseball

Settle had a great week, going 8-for-12 over a three-game span with a triple, two doubles and six runs.

Frankquon Sherman, Grovetown boys basketball

Sherman’s double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds helped Grovetown secure the 6A state championship victory over Buford.

Marc Stampley, Starr's Mill track and field

Stampley won the 300-meter hurdles at the Kowboy Invitational in Florida with a time of 39.36 seconds.

Stan Zagrodnik, Buford baseball

Zagrodnik went 2-for-3 and showed off his power and speed with a triple and a homer.
