Christion Barker, Shiloh track and field

Barker finished first in the 300-meter hurdles (36.75 seconds) and long jump (25 feet, 3 inches — third-longest in Georgia high school history) at the Christian Coleman Invitational.

Beau Brailey, Mill Creek baseball

Brailey went the distance in a win over Brookwood, pitching seven innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts.

Cade Cosper, Carrollton baseball

Cosper earned the win over South Paulding as he pitched a complete game with six strikeouts and allowed only one run.

Jake Cranor, Lanier tennis

The senior broke the school record with his 57th career victory on the court.

Nick Germain, Mount Paran baseball

Germain went 3-for-4 in the win over Walker with three RBIs and a two-run homer.

John Luke Glanton, Metter baseball

Glanton did it all versus Tattnall, getting three hits at the plate and being even more impressive on the mound. He went the distance, with eight strikeouts and zero earned runs.

Baylor Hicks, South Forsyth baseball

Hicks’ performance on the mound was vital in the victory over West Forsyth. He pitched a seven-inning shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Kaniya Johnson, Lowndes track and field

Johnson won the 100 (11.87 seconds) and 200 meters (23.92 seconds) at the L.C. Smith and Benson Relays.

Garrett Lambert, Parkview baseball

Parkview can thank Lambert for its win over Grayson. He went six shutout innings with nine strikeouts, allowing only one hit, and he drove in four runs at the plate.

Yahnari Lyons, Jonesboro track and field

Lyons swept the girls 100 and 200 meters in 11.40 and 22.99 seconds, respectively, at the Christian Coleman Invitational.

Sidi Njie, Westlake track and field

The freshman broke the school record in the 400 meters with a time of 47.56 seconds.

Hayden Shoup, Walton baseball

Shoup was Walton’s player of the game in a 10-0 win over Marietta, as he went 3-for-4 with two doubles.

Mason Trucks, Pike County baseball

Trucks went six innings with seven strikeouts while giving up only three hits.
