Vote: Who is the Georgia Boys Basketball Player of the Week (3/4/2024)?

We've reached state championship week in the Georgia high school basketball season, so we're nearly at the end of the 2023-24 Georgia high school girls basketball season.

Lots of great playoff performances were turned over the last week as we continue to track our Georgia High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week. Below are the candidates from the February 26-March 2, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 10th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Ace Bailey, McEachern

Bailey went off for 32 points and 15 rebounds in a win to send McEachern to the State title game.

Braedan Lue, Alexander

Lue led Alexander past Woodward Academy with a 20-point, 11 rebound performance.

Caleba Wilson, Holy Innocents

Wilson had a near triple-double with blocks as he finished with 18 points, 20 rebounds, eight blocks and three assists in a win over Benedictine.

Jamarcus Hatcher, Columbia

Hatcher did a little bit of everything against Westside in the Final Four. He finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and five blocks.

Shayah Goba, Mount Vernon

Goba asserted his dominance early in the Final Four blowout win over Pisgah County. He finished with 23 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

Kiwane Garris Jr., Mount Vernon

Gaines went off in the win over East Laurens scoring 30 points, hauling in five boards and dishing out three assists.

Jesus Quintero, Toombs County

Quintero dropped a game-high 22 points with six made threes and four assists in the Final Four win over Athens Academy.

CJ Brown, Kell

Brown scored a game-high 26 points shooting 4-5 from three, with eight boards, three assists, and three steals in the win over Dutchtown.
