Lincoln's Kloe Froebe voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (3/11/2024)
Congratulations to Lincoln girls basketball player Kloe Froebe, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for February 26-March 3.
Froebe received more than 75 percent of the total votes for the week.
The Colorado State recruit scored 36 points as the Railsplitters completed a 38-0 season with a 60-44 win over Glenwood in the IHSA Class 3A state final. She also had 27 points and nine rebounds in a 58-41 semifinal win against Montini.
Loyola Academy girls basketball player Paige Engels finished second in the voting after receiving more than 23 percent of the votes.
