Here are some stars from the past week's high school girls basketball games across Iowa.

Carolyn Amfahr, Martensdale St. Mary's

The senior rained in 7 of 10 3-pointers en route to a 25-point performance in a 61-8 rout of Southeast Warren. Amfahr finished 9-for-12 from the floor.

Brenna Bodensteiner, Waverly-Shell Rock

The senior scored a combined 36 points for the unbeaten Go-Hawks in victories over Clear Lake and New Hampton.

Tyme Boettcher, Panorama

The senior tossed in a team-high 19 points, leading the Panthers past West Central Valley 50-24. Boettcher had 18 points in a 72-39 win over Earlham earlier in the week.

Divine Bourrage, Davenport North

The junior narrowly missed a triple-double with 20 points 17 rebounds and eight assists in the Wildcats’ 62-51 victory over Pleasant Valley.

Ava Carlson, Norwalk

The sophomore pulled down 17 rebounds to complete a double-double in a low-scoring 39-31 win over Winterset. Carlson also scored 11 points.

Lindsey Davis, Nodaway Valley

The 5-6 senior poured in 36 points and came away with 12 steals for the unbeaten Wolverines in a 77-35 win over Bedford. Davis also had eight assists and six rebounds.

Tillotti Fair, Riceville

The junior recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the undefeated Wildcats in a 51-45 triumph over Dunkerton Friday. Fair had 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 69-11 rout of Janesville on Tuesday.

Maria Freed, Dubuque Wahlert

Freed tossed in 23 points, leading the Golden Eagles to a 48-42 victory over Western Dubuque. Freed was 6-for-7 from beyond the arc.

Sophia Hope, Waukee

The senior had a double-double, scoring 18 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, in the Warriors’ 59-44 win over city rival Waukee Northwest.

Elise Jaeger, West Des Moines Valley

The senior had a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds in the Tigers’ 60-32 victory over Urbandale. Jaeger, a UNI recruit, also had six assists and four steals.

Whitney Jensen, Remsen St. Mary’s

The senior finished with 13 points, eight assists and six rebounds as the Hawks cruised past South O’Brien 62-33. St. Mary’s, a state tournament qualifier last season, is off to a 5-0 start.

Brenna Johnson, Westwood

The 6-foot sophomore had 23 points and nine rebounds as the Class 2A sixth-ranked and unbeaten Rebels rolled past Kingsley-Pierson 83-40. Johnson was 8 of 10 from the floor and made four 3-pointers.

Kamryn Kurt, North Linn

The senior had 16 points, nine assists and five rebounds for the Class 1A top-ranked Lynx in a 66-18 rout of Edgewood-Colesburg. North Linn has bounced back from a season-opening loss to Clear Creek-Amana with four decisive wins.

Callie Levin, Solon

The senior posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in a 61-20 rout of Vinton-Shellsburg for the Class 3A top-ranked Spartans. Levin just missed a triple-double, finishing with seven assists.

Jenica Lewis, Johnston

The sophomore scored a combined 26 points, leading the top-ranked Dragons to wins over West Des Moines Dowling and Urbandale.

Averie Lower, Clear Creek-Amana

The 5-11 sophomore threw in a team-high 25 points, leading the 4A second-ranked Clippers to a 68-23 drubbing of Independence. Lower was 9 of 14 from the field and made five 3-pointers.

Morgan Miller, Iowa City Regina

The 5-6 junior guard had 25 points and five assists, leading the Regals to a 79-20 rout of Wilton on Friday. Miller poured in 34 points in a 78-41 victory over Durant on Tuesday.

Payton Petersen, Dike-New Hartford

The Louisville volleyball recruit poured in 37 points, leading the defending 2A state chanmpion Wolverines to a 61-48 win over Waterloo Columbus. Petersen added eight rebounds, seven steals and four assists.

Jada Podey, North Polk

The junior made all seven of her shots and scored 18 points in a 69-24 win over Gilbert. Podey also dished out three assists for the Class 4A fourth-ranked Comets.

Kayla Reis, Dallas Center-Grimes

The senior nailed four 3-pointers and led the Class 4A top-ranked Mustangs to a 54-32 victory over Ames. DC-Grimes is off to a 6-0 start.

Molly Shaffer, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont

The 6-foot junior forward scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds, leading the undefeated Rockets to a 62-51 victory over Davis County.

McKenna Sievers, Newell-Fonda

The senior had 17 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds, leading the Mustangs past
Algona Garrigan 72-51 in a rematch of the last two Class 1A state championship games.

Alliyah Thompson, Ballard

The senior scored a combined 42 points in wins over Boone and Bondurant-Farrar. Thompson combined to make nine 3-pointers in the two contests.

Emma Townsley, Benton

Townsley hit for 20 points in the Bobcats’ 54-51 win over West Delaware. The 5-8 guard made six of eight free throws and handed out a couple of assists.

Jayla Williams, Ankeny

The 5-10 sophomore tossed in 32 points, leading the Hawks past Southeast Polk 62-56. Williams added seven rebounds and four steals.

Rylee Yager, Estherville-Lincoln Central

The junior had 24 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double as the Midgets bested Minnesota foe Jackson County Central 63-34. Yager was close to a triple-double as she also had seven steals after she opened the week with a 27-point, eight-rebound, eight-steal effort against North Union.
