Eagle Grove basketball player Drake Canavan voted SBLive’s Iowa High School Athlete of the Week (2/5/2024)
Canavan tallied more than 8,000 votes
Senior Eagle Grove forward Drake Canavan was voted SBLive’s Iowa High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-28.
Canavan totaled 8,164 votes (55.78%). Harlan girls basketball player Aubrey Schweiso was second with 2,837 votes (19.38%).
Canavan recorded 24 points and six rebounds, nailing six 3-pointers, in a 68-46 win over West Hancock. The 6-foot-3 Canavan was 8 of 13 from the field and blocked two shots.
