Molly Allen, Oakland Riverside girls wrestling

The sophomore is unbeaten in her career with a record of 63-0. She claimed her second state championship by winning the 125-pound state championship.

Holden Arnaman, West Branch boys basketball

The senior headed to Division II Minnesota State scored 27 points as the Bears beat Iowa City Regina, 55-49, to snap the Regals’ 13-game winning streak. Arnaman poured in a school-record 48 points against Durant last week.

Gianna Bennett, Des Moines Christian girls basketball

Bennett had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, helping the Class 3A third-ranked Lions (18-1) hand Panorama, ranked No. 2 in Class 2A, its first loss of the season, 41-40.

Katie Biscoglia, Raccoon River-NW girls wrestling

Just a sophomore, the defending champion from Raccoon River-Northwest, Biscoglia finished the year 50-0 and is on a 96-match win streak after winning the 100-pound title.

Ben Bockman, Decorah boys basketball

The senior fired in 27 points for the once-beaten and Class 3A fifth-ranked Vikings as they picked up a 90-44 interstate win over Chatfield, Minnesota. Bockman hit six of seven from beyond the 3-point arc.

Divine Bourrage, Davenport North girls basketball

The junior star finished with 21 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and six steals for the 5A second-ranked Wildcats in an 82-23 win over Clinton.

Morgan Christian, Sioux Central girls basketball

Christian, a senior, finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds and her double-double helped the Rebels, ranked fourth in Class 2A, to a 60-25 win over South O’Brien. Christian made four 3-pointers and added five steals and three assists.

Mason Costello, Waukee boys basketball

The senior had 21 points and four assists for the Class 4A fifth-ranked Warriors in an 85-56 win over Indianola. Costello was 9-for-13 from the field.

Ashlyn Davis, Westwood girls basketball

The junior scored 22 points and snared 11 rebounds as the Rebels moved into the championship game of the Western Valley Conference tournament with a 51-15 rout of West Monona. Westwood is unbeaten in 16 games.

Camden Davis, Hudson boys basketball

The senior became Hudson’s all-time leading scorer with a 21-point effort in a win over Center Point-Urbana. Davis is also the school’s all-time leading rebounder, and he broke the previous record held by Jason Bauer, who went on to play at the University of Iowa. Davis has 1,373 career points.

Lindsey Davis, Nodaway Valley girls basketball

The senior erupted for 44 points as the Wolverines, ranked sixth in Class 2A, rolled to an 86-24 win over Central Decatur. Davis hit five 3-pointers while adding nine steals, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Kara Djoumessi, Waverly-Shell Rock girls wrestling

The senior claimed the 140-pound state championship, winning back to back titles.

Tillotti Fair, Riceville girls basketball

The junior registered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Class 1A 10th-ranked Wildcats past Waterloo Christian, 51-42.

Danyal Fothergill, North Union boys basketball

The 6-foot-3 senior had 22 points, five rebounds, five steals and three blocked shots for the Class 1A eighth-ranked Warriors in a 78-45 victory over Eagle Grove. North Union is 18-2 on the season.

Luke Frazell, Waverly-Shell Rock boys basketball

The 6-foot-6 senior guard had 29 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double in the Class 3A third-ranked Go-Hawks’ 83-51 victory over Mason City. Frazell was 12 of 18 from the field with five 3-pointers and also had three steals.

Jude Gibson, Ballard girls basketball

The sophomore came close to a triple-double in the Bombers’ 76-63 victory over Gilbert. Gibson finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Fitzy Grant, Sioux City East boys basketball

The senior just missed a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds as the Black Raiders won at Waukee, 68-53. The victory vaulted East to No. 4 in the Class 4A rankings and Grant posted 19 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Sergeant Bluff-Luton two nights later.

Lindsey Haken, George-Little Rock girls basketball

The sophomore hit for a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds for the 15th-ranked (Class 1A) Mustangs in a 60-54 win over Harris-Lake Park. Haken was 15-for-20 from the free throw line.

Kinzee Hinders, Newell-Fonda girls basketball

The junior charted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Mustangs rolled past Alta-Aurelia, 84-44. Hinders also had two steals and a blocked shot.

Olivia Huckfelt, Spencer girls wrestling

The senior picked up her third title and ended the last three years without a loss, capping it off by winning the 235-pound state championship.

Elise Jaeger, West Des Moines Valley

The senior had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Tigers clipped Cedar Rapids Prairie, 71-69, ending Prairie’s 12-game winning streak.

Carson Johnson, Ankeny boys basketball

The senior poured in 38 points, leading the Hawks to a 76-63 victory over city rival Centennial. Johnson missed the team’s previous game because of stitches in his left thumb.

Davis Kern, Linn-Mar boys basketball

The 6-foot-8 junior scored 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 77-38 win over Cedar Rapids Washington. Kern, averaging 23.4 points per game, went over 1,000 for his career last week.

Jayden Kuper, Monticello girls basketball

The junior had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Class 3A ninth-ranked Panthers to a 54-38 win over Northeast. Kuper also had seven steals and four assists.

Brooke Larsen, Lewis Central girls basketball

The junior had 21 points and seven rebounds, leading the Class 4A eighth-ranked Titans to a 43-35 win over Harlan, ranked sixth in 3A.

Callie Levin, Solon girls basketball

The senior and future Iowa Hawkeye threw in 30 points and fed Kobi Lietz for a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Class 3A fourth-ranked Spartans edged No. 2 Mount Vernon, 55-54.

Hudson Lorensen, ADM boys basketball

The sophomore hit for 22 points for the Class 3A second-ranked Tigers in an 81-56 win over Gilbert. Lorensen made four 3-pointers and all six of his free throw attempts.

Jasmine Luedtke, Ottumwa girls wrestling

The senior defended her title by winning the 110-pound state championship.

Eli Menke, Lake Mills girls basketball

The senior nailed six 3-pointers and scored 23 points, leading the Class 1A fifth-ranked Bulldogs (18-1) to an 86-46 victory over Forest City. Menke also had six rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Jaxon Morris, Eagle Grove boys basketball

The junior buried 7-of-8 3-point field goals to finish with 25 points in a 55-52 loss to Fort Dodge St. Edmond as the Gaels outscored the Eagles by 11 in the fourth quarter. Morris also scored 20 points in a 75-61 win over North Iowa.

Matilde Motta, Roland-Story girls basketball

The junior had 21 points, nine rebounds and eight stills, narrowly missing a triple-double in the Norsemen’s 63-54 victory over West Marshall. For good measure, Motta dished out four assists.

Payton Policky, AC/GC boys basketball

The junior has been a rebounding machine for the Chargers, which included the second of back-to-back double-doubles with 12 points and a school record 23 rebounds in a 62-46 win over West Central Valley. He also grabbed 10 boards vs. Coon Rapids-Bayard and 14 vs. Pleasantville. He’s nearly averaging a double-double with 10.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

Carter Putney, Carroll Kuemper boys basketball

The 6-2 senior had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, helping the 16-2 Knights down Shenandoah, 87-42.

Preston Reis, Monticello boys basketball

The senior scored 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished our five assists as the Class 2A fifth-ranked Panthers topped Maquoketa 72-55. Reis will play football at the University of Iowa.

Amani Robinson, Waterloo Columbus boys basketball

Sophomore Robinson, already a second-year starter, had his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, in a 55-49 win over Waterloo East.

Jadyn Sellers, Panorama girls basketball

The senior posted a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds as the Class 2A second-ranked Panthers topped Woodward-Granger, 70-48. The 5-10 Sellers also blocked three shots.

Toryn Severson, Madrid boys basketball

The junior finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists for the Class 1A second-ranked Tigers in a 71-33 win over Interstate 35 on Friday. That came one night after Severson hit for 30 points against Glidden-Ralston.

Naomi Simon, Decorah girls wrestling

An unbeaten three-time state champion entering the season, the senior clinched her fourth title in convincing fashion with a major decision in the 170-pound final over Autumn Elsbury of South Tama County. Prior to that, Simon, who ended her four-year career with a record of 130-0, had pinned all four of her opponents in under two minutes.

Reggi Spotts, Mason City boys basketball

The senior contributed 23 points and 10 rebounds and her double-double lifted the Riverhawks, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, to a 56-46 win over Des Moines Roosevelt. Spotts tacked on three steals and two assists for 16-2 Mason City.

Brooklyn Stanley, Sioux City Bishop Heelan girls basketball

The senior, who recently surpassed 1,000 points for her career, tossed in 23 for the 4A third-ranked Crusaders in a 74-28 rout of Sioux City West. Stanley, who made four 3-pointers, also handed out eight assists.

Eva Steffensen, CAM girls basketball

The senior had a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the 18-2 Cougars’ 67-55 win over Exira-EHK. The 5-9 Steffensen added five assists, three steals and three blocked shots for Class 1A ninth-ranked CAM.

Haylee Stokes, Estherville-Lincoln Central girls basketball

The junior standout fired in 31 points, leading the Midgets to a 62-40 win over Spirit Lake. Stokes also had eight rebounds and seven assists, while teammate Rylee Jager contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Sawyer Stout, Keota boys basketball

The senior tossed in 24 points, helping the unbeaten and Class 1A sixth-ranked Eagles to an 83-40 win over Cardinal. Keota moved to 19-0 on the season.

Abby Tuttle, North Polk girls basketball

The junior rang up 22 points to go along with six assists in the Class 4A fifth-ranked Comets’ 48-42 win over Ballard. Tuttle cashed in on eight of nine free throws.

Jack Vanfossan, Underwood boys basketball

The senior charted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds as the unbeaten and fourth-ranked (Class 2A) Eagles beat Tri-Center, 59-47.

Quinn Vice, Pleasant Valley girls basketball

The junior had 21 points and six rebounds, helping the 5A sixth-ranked Spartans defeat Davenport Assumption, 57-22. Vice made five 3-pointers and added three steals and a block.

Jack Vanfossan, Underwood boys basketball

The senior charted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds as the unbeaten and fourth-ranked (Class 2A) Eagles beat Tri-Center, 59-47.

Carson Wellhausen, Clarinda boys basketball

The sophomore double-doubled with 20 points and 16 rebounds, leading the Cardinals to a 66-63 victory over Clarke. The 6-foot-1 Wellhausen had 10 offensive rebounds and six blocked shots.

Jacob Williams, Dubuque Senior boys basketball

The senior posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Class 4A No. 7 Rams in a 50-36 win over Cedar Rapids Xavier. Williams tacked on two steals and a blocked shot.

Luke Winkel, Ankeny Centennial boys basketball

Although Centennial lost to Ankeny, 76-63, Winkel flourished with a 37-point outburst for the Jaguars. He has scored 30 or more points against Ankeny the last three times he has faced the Hawks.
