Gray Walters, Benton football

Walters threw for 516 yards and eight touchdowns as the Tigers defeated Byrd, 63-28.

Kamron Evans, Huntington football

Evans compiled 501 yards passing and threw seven TD passes, setting a school record, in the Raiders’ 60-27 win against Minden.

Shelton Sampson, Catholic-Baton Rouge football

The receiver and LSU commit caught eight passes for 126 yards and scored two TDs in the Bears’ 42-36 win against Montgomery (Ala.) Carver on Friday.

Abram Wardell, Calvary Baptist football

The quarterback passed for 243 yards and four TDs as the Cavaliers defeated Mansfield, 52-6.

Blake Abney, University High football

In the Cubs’ 45-6 win against Port Allen, the Cubs’ quarterback completed 17-of-21 passes for 209 yards and two TDs.

Jaylan White, Parkway football

White carried the ball 26 times for 242 yards and a TD as the Panthers defeated Captain Shreve, 25-13.

Arch Manning, Newman football

Manning was 18-of-29 passing for 357 yards and seven touchdowns in the Greenies’ 52-22 victory against Pearl River. He also moved in front of his uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning, for Newman school career records in both passing touchdowns and passing yards.

Ben Taylor, Airline football

Taylor was 14-of-24 passing for 253 yards and four TDs as the Vikings downed Natchitoches Central, 46-0.

Carldell Sirmons, Ouachita Parish football

Sirmons rushed for 311 yards and four TDs on 22 carries as the Lions handed Ouachita Christian its first defeat, 48-28, on Thursday.

Janathan Bonnet, Northside football

Bonnet scored three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 2.5 seconds left, as the Vikings posted a 40-34 win Saturday at Peabody.

Jaylen Welch, Bolton football

Welch scored four touchdowns as the Bears built a 38-6 first-quarter lead en route to a 60-12 win against Block.

Eli Morrison, Grant football

Morrison caught eight passes for 119 yards and a TD as the Cougars won Thursday’s Squirrel Bowl at Buckeye, 31-14.

Gary Dukes, Dutchtown football

In the Griffins’ 37-15 win against Carver, Dukes carried the ball 19 times for 150 yards and two TDs.

Dillon Pikes, Lakeview football

In the Gators’ 36-30 win against Delta Charter, Pikes rushed for two TDs and returned a kickoff for another TD. He also picked off two passes on defense.

Braden Williams, St. James football

Williams threw for 153 yards, including the game-winning TD with 16 seconds left, in the Wildcats’ 30-27 win against Woodlawn-Baton Rouge. He added 40 yards rushing with a TD.

A.J. Samuel, Edna Karr football

Samuel was 13-of-21 passing for 220 yards and three touchdowns, and led the Cougars in rushing with 78 yards on eight carries, in Karr’s 40-7 win against Brother Martin.

Da’Cariay Harper, Wossman football

Harper had 115 yards rushing on 22 carries and a TD as Wossman defeated North Webster, 38-6.

Keven Williams, Acadiana football

Williams rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries for the Wreckin’ Rams in a 59-6 win against Comeaux.

Joshua Morisse, St. Amant football

Morisse rushed for 90 yards and a TD as St. Amant posted a 19-7 win against Helen Cox.

P.J. Martin, De La Salle football

Martin tallied 175 yards rushing on 24 carries and scored two TDs in his team’s 20-13 win against East Ascension.

David Kency, Shaw football

Kenny rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns, and returned a kickoff 92 yards for another TD, in a 51-13 victory against West Jefferson.

Amareya Greeley, Carroll football

In his team’s 62-0 win against Bastrop, Greeley rushed for 135 yards on 10 carries and had three TDs while adding a 35-yard TD reception.

Aaron Jackson, Ruston football

Jackson caught six passes for 127 yards and scored three TDs in the Bearcats’ 27-21 win against Neville.

Jon Boudreaux, Cecilia football

Boudreaux drilled a 22-yard field goal as time expired, capping a memorable win for Cecilia in a 25-24 win at Crowley Notre Dame.

Tylon Citizen, Church Point football

Citizen tallied 138 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries in Church Point's 58-6 win against Mamou.

Clay Doucet, Iota football

Doucet rushed for 140 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown in his team’s 21-13 win against Jennings.

Marlon Prout, John Curtis football

Prout ran for 129 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns, including a game-clinching TD in the final quarter in the Patriots’ 32-21 win against Holy Cross.

Blaze Rodriguez, Pope John Paul II football

Though he had just five carries, Rodriguez still scored four TDs. He also had 173 yards rushing in his team’s 51-0 win against Crescent City.

Ja'Kaylib Anderson, Lafayette football

Anderson rushed for 136 yards on 18 carries with a TD in his team’s 44-41 win against St. Martinville.

Jalen Guillard, East Jefferson football

Guillard threw for two touchdowns and also added a pick-six in his team’s 35-6 win against Higgins.

Dylan Judice, Rayne football

Judice was 8-for-12 passing for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the Wolves’ 28-7 win against Crowley.

Aaron Ford, Southside football

Ford had three TDs - two rushing and one receiving - in the Sharks’ 30-7 win at Barbe.

Braedon George, Episcopal-Baton Rouge football

The Knights improved to 5-0 with a 33-28 win against Ascension Catholic, and George was a big reason why. George rushed for 148 yards on 20 carries, scoring the eventual game-winning TD in the final minutes. He also returned an interception 65 yards for another TD.

Anne Hardouin, Dominican volleyball

Hardouin had seven kills, 12 digs and served five aces, including three straight in a key stretch of the opening set, as Dominican went on to a three-set sweep Thursday against St. Joseph’s.

Emma Bourg, Houma Christian girls cross country

Bourg won the girls individual title at Saturday’s St. Joseph’s Academy Invitational in Baton Rouge, finishing in a time of 17:21.46.

Gabriel Metoyer, Brother Martin boys cross country

Metoyer won the boys individual title at Saturday’s St. Joseph’s Academy Invitational in Baton Rouge, finishing with a time of 15:11.59 while also helping the Crusaders win the boys team championship.
