Arch Manning and the Newman Greenies are back in action on the road again this week as they face off with the Belle Chasse Cardinals.
The Greenies are coming off an explosive 52-22 win over Pearl River last week in a game where Manning broke the career passing yards and touchdowns records, previously held by Eli and Peyton Manning, respectively.
This week, Newman and Manning have a showdown with a 4-2 Belle Chasse team that was upset by Franklinton last week and and needs a win to stay atop the Class 4A District 10 standings.

As the nephew of Super Bowl winners Peyton and Eli Manning, the grandson of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning, and a Texas-commit who is the No. 1 recruit in his class, Arch Manning didn't have a lot to prove coming into his senior year.
But that hasn't stopped him from helping Newman (4-1) make a strong case as one of the favorites to win the Louisiana Class 2A state championship this season.
He has already amassed 20 touchdowns and more than 1,100 yards through the air in Newman's first five games, and he's coming off a game last week where he threw for 326 yards and seven touchdowns, with five of those scores taking place before halftime.
Newman travels to play Class 4A opponent Belle Chasse this week, but look for Manning to shine once again as he did against Pearl River last week, another Class 4A team.
