Trevon Jackson, Airline boys basketball

Jackson scored 25 points as the Vikings recorded a 58-41 win against Byrd on Friday.

Morgan Young, Byrd girls basketball

Young scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds in Byrd's 41-36 win against St. Joseph’s in the first round of the Division I select playoffs.

Makayla Gallien, Natchitoches Central girls basketball

Gallien scored 25 points in the Lady Chiefs' 60-39 win against Live Oak in the opening round of the Division I non-select playoffs.

Owen Spath, St. Paul’s boys soccer

Spath scored a goal and assisted on the other goal as the Wolves defeated Mandeville, 2-0, in the Division I state semifinals.

Kaden Lewis, Thomas Jefferson boys track

Lewis recorded a personal-best time of 6.86 seconds to win the Division II boys 60-meter sprint at the LHSAA Indoor state meet on Saturday.

Kali Magana, Louise McGehee girls track

Magana set a record by winning the Division II 400-meter dash in 56.71 at Saturday’s LHSAA Indoor state meet.

Anna Alleman, St. Joseph’s girls soccer

Alleman’s successful shot attempt in the first half provided the edge for the Redstickers’ 1-0 Division I state semifinal win Saturday against Dominican.

Hannah Plaisance/Lily Arjmand, Newman girls soccer

Plaisance and Arjmand scored two goals apiece to help the Greenies advance to the Division IV state title game after a 4-0 semifinal win Friday against Northlake Christian.

Amijah Price, Woodlawn-Baton Rouge girls basketball

Price led all scorers with 17 points as Woodlawn claimed a 59-18 win against Riverdale in the opening round of the Division I select playoffs on Thursday.

Krislenn Lucas, Chalmette girls basketball

Lucas scored 10 points, including making two free throws with 24.7 seconds left to help her team edge Ruston, 38-37, in the opening round of the Division I non-select playoffs on Thursday.

Jordyn Rogers, Edna Karr girls basketball

Rogers finished with a team-high 17 points along with four rebounds and two steals as the Cougars defeated Chapelle, 49-47, in a Division I select opening round playoff on Feb. 15.

Lavion Owens, Carroll boys basketball

Owens finished with a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds as the Bulldogs claimed the District 1-3A tournament with a 77-74 win against Richwood on Feb. 15.

Kole Robinson, Ben Franklin boys soccer

In the ninth round of penalty kicks to decide the Division II state semifinals on Saturday, it was Robinson who provided the game-winner in the Falcons’ 8-7 shootout win against East Jefferson, sending Ben Franklin to its first title match since 2015.

A'shyria Burns, Menard girls track

Burns carried Menard's girls to a third place finish in Division II at the LHSAA Indoor meet. Burns finished second in the 60 meters (7.75 seconds), 60 hurdles (9.12 seconds) and long jump (17 feet, 3 3/4 inches).

Jay Guillory, Menard boys soccer

Guillory's goal in the 73rd minute of the LHSAA Division IV boys soccer semifinals allowed the Eagles to clinch a spot to the LHSAA soccer state tournament for the first time in program history.

Sky Montgomery, Bolton girls basketball

The LSU-Alexandria commit scored 21 points as the Lady Bears rallied back for a 55-53 playoff win against Washington-Marion.

Lauren Roberts, Alexandria girls track

Roberts won the Division I girls pole vault at the LHSAA state indoor meet with a clearance of 11-5.75.

Harvey Broussard, St. Martinville boys basketball

The 6-foot-3 Louisiana-Lafayette football signee scored a game-high 25 points in his team's 66-44 win against Franklin on Feb. 17.

Garylon Brown, West St. Mary girls basketball

The sophomore guard scored 25 points to lead the eighth-seeded Wolfpack to a 74-57 opening round playoff win against No. 25 Kinder on Feb. 15.

Jadyn Mallory, St. Thomas More girls soccer

Mallory, a junior, scored two goals in the top-seeded Cougars' 7-0 Division II semifinals win against No. 4 Caddo Magnet on Saturday.

Warren Young, Walker boys basketball

Young led the Wildcats with 19 points in an 83-70 win against East Ascension that clinched the District 5-5A title on Feb. 17.

Riley Hicock, Dutchtown girls soccer

The junior scored both goals in the sixth-seeded Griffins' 2-0 victory in the Division I semifinals against No. 7 Northshore.

Broderick Davis, Scotlandville boys track

Won the long jump, triple jump and 60-meter hurdles as the Hornets placed first in Division I at the LHSAA Indoor Championships on Saturday at the LSU campus. Davis set a field house record in the 60 meters and topped his personal best in the long jump by 11 inches.

Tristan Goodly, Westlake boys track

Goodly won two championships at Saturday’s LHSAA Indoor Championships. He won both the Division II long jump (22-10) and triple jump (46-6 1/4).
