Makharee Narcisse, St, Martinville boys basketball

The junior posted 18 points with five rebounds and blocked a shot as the Tigers overcame a double-digit deficit to down Cecilia, 48-39.

Tyler Landry, St, Martinville girls basketball

The senior forward dropped in 22 points as the Lady Tigers thumped Cecilia, 66-14, to improve to 12-1 on the year.

Gregory Donaldson, Warren Easton boys basketball

Donaldson scored 18 points with eight rebounds, five assists and four steals to lead Easton to a 66-61 win over L.B. Landry.

Michael Mouton, St. Thomas More boys basketball

The senior guard fired in 19 points to pace the Cougars to a 51-49 win over Edna Karr in the finals of the Country Day Tournament.

Kylon Polk, Loreauville boys basketball

The Tigers went 3-0 in the Teurlings Catholic Round-Robin, capping off the week with a 59-47 win over Opelousas Catholic. Polk put in a team-high 16 points.

Matthew Gordon, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy boys basketball

Gordon scored 25 points to lead his team to a 60-55 win over Westminster Christian.

Kaine Broussard, Lacassine boys basketball

Broussard contributed 27 points to trigger a 65-36 win over Jeanerette.

Jaiden Mitchell, Catholic-New Iberia boys basketball

The junior was named to the LSWA Class 2A first-team all-state squad in football, and led the Panthers' hoops team to a 54-34 win over Opelousas Catholic with 10 points.

CJ Shiflett, Evangel Christian boys basketball

Shiflett had a triple-double, scoring 18 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 74-51 win over North Caddo.

Jaylin Johnson, Alexandria Senior High boys basketball

Johnson fired in 16 points to lead the Trojans to a 65-42 win over Marksville. The Trojans are 10-4 this season.

Michael Sarver, St. Paul's boys basketball

Sarver poured in 34 points to pace the Wolves to a 63-55 win over St. Charles Catholic. The Wolves are 11-5 on the year.

Ayden Warren, St. Mary's boys basketball

Warren led three double-digit scorers with 20 points and four rebounds in a 54-32 win over Georgetown. The Tigers are 9-5 and hold the No. 6 power rating in Division IV select.

Logan Smith, Natchitoches Central boys basketball

Smith totaled 25 points, seven rebounds and six steals in the Chiefs' 68-35 win over Rapides. The Chiefs are 13-2 and No. 2 in the Division I non-select power ratings.

Jyrin Sowell, Captain Shreve boys basketball

Sowell posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 51-47 win over Scotlandville. The Gators are 13-2 and No. 3 in the Division I select power ratings.

Tiarra McPipe, Zachary girls basketball

McPipe exploded for a career-high 32 points with 11 rebounds as the Lady Broncos defeated Southside, 69-54. Zachary is 10-2 and No. 6 in the Division I non-select power ratings.

Turner Duncan, St. Augustine boys basketball

Duncan scored 19 points with five 3-pointers in the Purple Knights' 65-49 win over Dunham. The Purple Knights are 13-0 on the season.

Jakyris Jenkins, Plaquemine boys basketball

Jenkins scored 28 points in the Green Devils' 62-48 win over Walker. The Green Devils are 10-4 on the year.

Rondae Hill, Calvary Baptist boys basketball

Hill had 25 points, four assists and four rebounds in the Cavaliers' 62-48 win over Huntington. Calvary Baptist is 11-2 and No. 3 in the Division III select power ratings. Hill had a huge week, also leading the Cavaliers to a 61-58 win over Evangel Christian with 20 points, seven assists and two rebounds.

Jakyiah Lane, Captain Shreve girls basketball

Lane topped the scoring with 14 points in the Lady Gators' 58-32 win over Booker T. Washington-Shreveport that evened the team's record at 6-6.

Avery Ryan, Airline girls basketball

Airline earned a 41-32 win over Benton. Ryan led the Lady Vikings (11-4, 2-0 District 1-5A) to the district victory with 17 points.
