HAMMOND, LOUISIANA - Day 5 of the LHSAA girls basketball "Marsh Madness" tournament concludes with the Division V non-select championship game.

Hicks will be squaring off against Fairview, which lost to Hathaway in last season's Division V non-select title contest.

- Hicks (32-3) had three players in double figures. Shyanne Phillips scored 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting and she also grabbed 16 rebounds. Reese Stephens added 20 points and Izabella Cross scored 17.

- A huge night for the Fairview duo of Ella Reeves and Reesie Jinks. Jinks scored 39 points, the highest point total of anyone at this week's "Marsh Madness," on 14-of-28 shooting. She also had three 3-pointers, two assists and four steals. Reeves had a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds.

- Friday's win was the 15th overall state championship for the Fairview (29-7) program.
