Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for January 29-February 3 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 11th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Aidan Able, John Carroll: The sophomore scored 42 points, including his 1,000th career point in John Carroll’s 96-94 victory over Pallotti.

Peter Ciardello, Grace Academy: Ciardello had 55 points and 17 rebounds in two matches, including a double-double (27 points and 10 rebounds) in Grace’s victory over Faith.

Davon Mcleod, Glen Burnie: Mcleod posted 16 points and 12 rebounds as Glen Burnie defeated North County, 63-41.

Deon Mcpherson, Lake Clifton: The senior guard tallied 29 points in Lake Clifton’s 91-56 win over Reginald Lewis, and 22 points and eight rebounds in a 67-42 victory over ACCE.

Darrion Parris, Aberdeen: The senior posted 26 points in Aberdeen’s 73-67 victory over Harford Tech, and 28 in a win over Joppatowne.

Dylan Sanders, C.Milton Wright: The junior center posted double-doubles against Edgewood (23 points and 17 rebounds in 50-39 C. Milton Wright win), 28 points and 19 rebounds vs. Patterson Mill (63-38 win) and 20 points and 13 rebounds in the Mustangs’ 75-57 win over Fallston.

Malik Washington, Archbishop Spalding: The junior forward finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds in Spalding’s 67-64 victory over defending MIAA A Conference champion St. Frances.

Ceonta Wilmore, Williamsport: Wilmore totaled 39 points and 13 rebounds in two games, including 28 points and eight rebounds in Williamsport’s win over Catoctin.

Jarvis Wright, St. Maria Goretti: Wright finished with 44 points in two contests, including 28 as Goretti defeated St. Frances.

Jayden Yates, St. James: Yates totaled 64 points in three games, including 25 in St. James’ victory over Georgetown Day (D.C.)
