Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for February 5-9 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, February 18th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Ayla Galloway, Fallston: The senior post had 21 points, 12 rebounds and six steals in Fallston’s 49-27 victory over Rising Sun, and 21 points and 20 rebounds in a 44-41 win over John Carroll.

Nia Green, Hammond: Green had 15 points and 10 assists in Hammond’s 73-16 victory over Marriotts Ridge, and 10 points and eight assists in a 47-10 win over Long Reach.

Caroline Kohr, Francis Scott Key: Kohr finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in Francis Scott Key’s 43-35 victory over Manchester Valley.

Reese Kresslein, Manchester Valley: Kresslein posted 12 points and 12 rebounds as Manchester Valley defeated Harford Tech, 43-28.

Mariah Jones-Bey, Pikesville: Jones-Bey had 27 points in Pikesville’s 73-45 victory over New Town.

Skyla Mastronardi, Smithsburg: Mastronardi had 11 points, five rebounds and three steals in Smithsburg’s 55-44 victory over Clear Spring, and 21 points, 10 assists and six steals in a 67-28 win over Thomas Johnson.

Caroline Nicholson, North Harford: The senior forward finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds as North Harford defeated Joppatowne, 38-22.

Emily Signor, North Harford: Signor finished with 14 points and 15 rebounds in North Harford’s 55-40 victory over C. Milton Wright, and 17 points and 17 rebounds in a 43-36 loss to Kenwood.

Eniyah Stinnette, Gerstell: Stinnette had 16 points and 16 rebounds in Gerstell’s 56-47 victory over St. John’s Catholic Prep, and eight points and 13 rebounds in a 43-20 win over Concordia Prep.

Ava Wooster, Southern: Wooster had a game-high 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as Southern defeated Western Tech, 59-13, and had 18 points and eight rebounds in a 66-17 win over Arundel.
