Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for February 12-17 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Brenden Abell, Severna Park: The senior had 23 points in Severna Park’s 66-63 victory over South River.

Jordan Brown, Broadneck: Brown, a senior, had 31 points in Broadneck’s 63-51 victory over Annapolis.

Charlie Crabtree, Centennial: Crabtree posted a triple-double - 12 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists - Centennial’s 73-41 win over Howard.

Jah Donald, Westminster: Donald finished with 12 points and 15 rebounds in Westminster’s 73-63 win over Eastern Tech, and hit the game-winning free throw in a 56-55 victory over Tuscarora.

Brendan Luddy, Manchester Valley: Luddy finished with 31 points in Manchester Valley’s 77-69 victory over Linganore.

Jaden McDuffie, South River: McDuffie finished with 24 points, featuring six 3-pointers, in South River’s 81-49 win over Crofton.

Drew Pape, Patterson Mill: The senior surpassed the 1,000-point career plateau, finishing with 16 in Patterson Mill’s 75-35 rout of Aberdeen.

Kingston Price, Severn: Price scored 25 points in Severn’s 80-33 victory over Indian Creek.

Larry Thompson, C. Milton Wright: Thompson finished with 24 points in C. Milton Wright’s 82-66 victory over Patterson Mill.

Jayden Yates, St. James: The sophomore totaled 53 points in three games, reaching the 1,000 career point mark against Sidwell Friends (D.C.)
