Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for March 4-9 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 17th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Skai Bayless, Oakdale: The senior finished with 11 points in Oakdale’s 52-38 win over Dulaney in the Class 3A state quarterfinals, and had 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a 49-45 win over Linganore in the West Region I final.

Zhen Craft, Bishop McNamara: The junior forward was the Most Outstanding Player with 54 points and 32 rebounds (in three games), including 17 points and nine rebounds in the title game against Bullis as McNamara won the first Maryland Private Schools State Tournament championship.

Frances Doyle, Bethesda-Chevy Chase: Doyle, a junior guard, had 15 points in the Barons’ 63-34 win over Crofton in the Class 4A state quarterfinals, and 15 in a 46-28 win over Whitman in the West Region II final.

Se’Lah Foreman, Wicomico: The sophomore guard had 29 points and three steals in Indians’ 58-29 win over Huntingtown in the Class 2A state quarterfinals, and 24 points and six steals in a 59-54 victory over Queen Anne’s in the East Region II title match.

Nia Green, Hammond: The senior forward finished with 16 points and 12 assists in Hammond’s 66-21 win over Chesapeake-Anne Arundel in the Class 2A state quarterfinals, and had 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 59-19 win over Southern in the West Region II final.

Mariah Jones-Bey, Pikesville: The sophomore guard finished with 13 points and 11 assists in Pikesville’s 72-40 victory over Perryville in the Class 1A state quarterfinals, and 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in a 54-53 win over Loch Raven in the South Region I final.

Trinity Turner, Clarksburg: Turner posted 17 points in Clarksburg’s 43-32 win over Frederick in the Class 4A state quarterfinals, and had 10 in a 47-37 victory over Richard Montgomery in the West Region I title match.

Jayden Weaver, Southern-Garrett: The freshman guard finished with 17 points and four steals in Southern’s 66-33 win over Cambridge-South Dorchester in the Class 1A state quarterfinals, and had 15 points in a 55-54 win over Mountain Ride in the West Region I title game.

Madison Williams, Oxon Hill: Williams, a senior guard bound to Adelphi University in the fall, had 16 points, five rebounds and four assists in Oxon Hill’s 51-30 win over St. Charles in the Class 3A East Region II final, and 13 points and four steals in a 49-41 victory over Severna Park in the state quarterfinals.

Drew Watkins, Francis Scott Key: The senior guard scored 29 points in Francis Scott Key’s 65-34 victory over Middletown in the Class 2A West Region I final, and finished with 12 in a 52-39 win over Hereford in the state quarterfinals.
