Recap: Livonia Franklin was unbeaten coming into this game and they got throttled. So yeah, Belleville is legit, if anyone still had concerns about it.

2. Warren De La Salle Collegiate (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated No. 19 River Rouge 19-18

Recap: De La Salle trailed virtually the whole game until a late touchdown put them ahead, and its defense did the rest. 

3. Grand Rapids Catholic Central (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Wayland 35-0

Recap: Catholic Central goes on the road and takes care of business against Wayland.

4. Detroit Martin Luther King (5-2)

Week 8: Lost 28-14 to Detroit Cass Tech

Recap: King loses the Detroit PSL Crown to Cass Tech. It will fall out of the top 10, possibly farther.

5. West Bloomfield (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Southfield A&T 42-28

Recap: West Bloomfield beats a good Southfield A&T team on the road.

6. Rockford (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Jenison 42-14

Recap: Rockford will be undefeated heading into next week's showdown with Caledonia.

7. Rochester Adams (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Harper Woods 20-6

Recap: Adams marches on to improve to 7-1.

8. Caledonia (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Holland West Ottawa 48-0

Recap: After Caledonia takes care of West Ottawa, the stage is set for next week's season finale against Rockford. The winner takes the OK Red crown.

9. Macomb Dakota (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Utica Ford 58-14

Recap: Dakota begins its time in the top 10 with a blowout of Utica Ford.

10. Grand Rapids South Christian (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 37-7

Recap: South Christian beats up on Kenowa Hills to improve to 8-0.

Week 8: Defeated Dundee 46-17

Recap: Hudson keeps crushing its opponents. It sure looks like its ready for its first playoffs in Division 7.

Week 8: Lost 21-14 to No. 16 Dexter

Recap: That's now back-to-back losses for Saline after a 6-0 start. It is not ending the season on a strong note, that's for sure.

13. Warren Michigan Collegiate (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Harper Woods Chandler Park 14-12

Recap: I underestimated Chandler Park, as it gave Michigan Collegiate all it could handle.

14. Whitehall (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Fremont 49-8

Recap: Nothing to see here. Just Whitehall doing Whitehall things.

15. Marine City (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Center Line 34-12

Recap: Marine City picks up another easy victory. 

16. Dexter (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated No. 12 Saline 21-14

Recap: Dexter hands Saline its second straight loss to remain undefeated.

17. Chelsea (5-3)

Week 8: Lost 40-7 to Edwardsburg

Recap: Chelsea gets blown out on the road for its second consecutive loss. It was looking like a state title contender before the season, but now it may struggle to make the playoffs. It will fall out of the Power 25 next week, which is not a sentence I thought I would type about Chelsea.

18. Lapeer (7-1)

Week 8: Lost 48-13 to No. 23 Clarkston

Recap: Clarkston rudely hands Lapeer its first loss of the season.

19. River Rouge (4-2)

Week 8: Lost 19-18 to No. 2 Warren De La Salle

Recap: This is a killer for River Rouge. It had the lead for most of the game. This win would have been huge for it. Instead, it will probably fall out of the power 25.

20. Davison (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Grand Blanc 49-14

Recap: Davison blowouts out Grand Blanc ahead of its matchup with Lapeer next week.

21. Tecumseh (8-0)

Week 8: Defeated Livonia Clarenceville 52-46

Recap: Tecumseh survives a shootout with Clarenceville to begin its tenure in the power 25.

22. Muskegon Mona Shores (7-1)

Week 8: Defeated Muskegon Reeths-Puffer 15-0

Recap; Mona Shores moves past Reeths-Puffer thanks in large part to its defense pitching a shutout.

23. Clarkston (6-2)

Week 8: Defeated No. 18 Lapeer 48-13

Recap: Clarkston with another statement win, blowing out previously unbeaten Lapeer at its place. 

24. Hudsonville Unity Christian (5-3)

Week 8: Lost 35-32 to Spring Lake

Recap: And this is why I have been hesitant to move Unity Christian up all year. Just when you think it had gotten its stuff together, it loses to a 2-5 Spring Lake team. It can kiss the power 25 goodbye.

25. Muskegon (6-2)

Week 8: Defeated Holland via forfeit

Recap: Muskegon gets a free win after Holland had its season cancelled.
