Sarah Basket, Garber High School

Senior Sarah Basket had great performances for Garber at the Meridian Invite over the weekend. Against Standish-Sterling, Basket went 2-for-4 at bat as she finished with one run, three RBI’s, one double, and one home run in an 8-2 win. 

Against Meridian, Basket would post a .667 batting average as she notched two runs, four RBI’s, and one home run in a big 15-2 win.

Paige Rylaarsdam, Unity Christian

Unity Christian’s Paige Rylaarsdam had a good performance against Allendale in a big 12-0 win. 

Rylaarsdam finished with a .750 batting average notching three runs, five RBIs, and one home run.

Tori Briggs, Fowlerville High School

Junior Tori Briggs had a big game for Fowlerville against Saranac as she led them to a 13-1 win on Saturday. 

Briggs went 2-for-3 at bat as she finished with two runs, four RBIs, and two home runs.

Ella Hyatt, Sterling Heights High School

Junior Ella Hyatt led Sterling Heights to their big win on Wednesday against South Lake, 16-1. Hyatt was perfect at bat as she went 3-for-3 and notched four runs, three RBIs, and one home run.

Georgia Meyer, Marion High School

Senior Georgia Meyer was stellar for Marion as they beat Mason County Central in a double header. 

In game one, Meyer would finish with a .667 batting average as she notched two runs, three RBIs, one double, and one home run in a 13-0 shutout win. In game two, Meyer went perfect at bat as she posted a 1.000 batting average with four runs and one RBI. 

Baseball

Noah Etnyre, Plymouth Christian Academy

Senior Noah Etnyre was dominant on the diamond for Plymouth Christian in a huge 24-0 win over Lutheran. Etnyre went 4-for-4 at bat as he finished with five runs, seven RBIs, two doubles, and one home run.

Javanni Johnson, Mona Shores

Mona Shores’ Javanni Johnson was spectacular on Thursday as they knocked off Zeeland West, 5-4. Johnson posted a .500 batting average as he notched two runs, four RBIs, and two home runs.

Dennell Kemp, Ecorse High School

Junior Dennell Kemp showed out for Ecorse as he led them to a big win against Cabrini, 16-4. Kemp went 2-for-3 at bat as he finished with two runs, three RBIs and one home run.

Brenden Aenis, East Jordan High School

Sophomore Brenden Aenis had a good showing for East Jordan as they picked up wins in their double header against Grayling on Thursday. 

In game one, Aenis would finish with a .500 batting average as he finished with one hit on two at bats with one RBI. 

Aenis would bounce back in game two as he went 3-for-3 at the plate finishing with three runs, four RBIs, one double, and one home run.

Kyle Smith, Holland Christian High School

Holland Christian’s Kyle Smith had a good performance despite their loss to Coopersville, 8-4. 

Smith finished with a .500 batting average as he notched one run, two RBIs, and one home run.
