Kyle Heltunen, Jeffers High School

Jeffers’ Kyle Heltunen was stellar on Saturday as he led the Jets to a 9-5 win against Westwood. Heltunen would go 2-for-3 at bat while notching one run, one single, and five RBIs.

Shane Keys, Clintondale

Clintondale’s Shane Keys had good performances last week in wins against Madison on Wednesday and Friday. 

In a 17-0 win, Keys would post a perfect 1.000 batting average as he finished with one run, four RBI’s, and two doubles on three hits. In a 12-4 win, he would go 2-for-4 at bat finishing with two runs, two RBIs, and two doubles.

Ben Meyers, North Muskegon High School

Junior Ben Meyers stood out with his performance on Tuesday against Holton in a 14-4 win. Meyers went 2-for-4 at bat as he notched two runs, three RBIs, and one home run.

Evan Peterson, Webberville

Webberville’s Evan Peterson helped them big in wins against Ashley and Bendle. 

Against Ashley, Peterson posted a perfect 1.000 batting average with two runs and one RBI, then would go 1-for-2 against Bendle while finishing with two runs, one RBI, and one home run.

Sammy Chernisky, Lakeview High School

Lakeview’s Sammy Chernisky had a good performance in their 20-9 win over Marysville. Chernisky finished with two runs, two RBIs, and one home run on one hit.

Sydney Schoenborn, Grand Rapids Catholic Central

Senior Sydney Schoenborn had good performances for Catholic Central in their two wins against Ottawa Hills. 

In game one, Schoenborn posted a perfect 1.000 batting average as she finished with three runs, one RBI, and one double. 

In game two, she would finish with another perfect batting average as she notched four runs, and five RBIs.

Madie Jamrog, Hamilton High School

Senior Madie Jamrog was on fire on the mound for Hamilton in their 9-0 win against West Ottawa. 

Jamrog pitched all seven innings and allowed zero runs on just two hits while earning 12 strikeouts.

Jayla Thompson, Lakeville High School

Junior Jayla Thompson had dominant performances for Lakeville in their two wins against Ovid-Elsie. 

In game one, Thompson finished 2-for-5 at bat notching two runs, six RBIs, one triple, and one home run. In game two, Thompson went 1-for-4 at bat with three runs, two RBIs and one home run.

Olivia Jubar, Unionville-Sebewaing

Senior Olivia Jubar had a great performance against Reese in a 13-3 win. Jubar went 2-for-5 at bat as she notched two runs, five RBIs, one double, and one home run.

Avery Garden, Allen Park

Junior Avery Garden showed out for Allen Park as she helped them to two wins against Edsel Ford on Monday. 

In game one, Garden went 2-for-3 at bat as she finished with three runs, two RBIs, and one home run to take the win, 18-0. 

In game two, she would finish 1-for-2 at bat finishing with one run, two RBIs, and one home run in another big win, 16-0.
