Minnesota girls basketball state tournament updates throughout the Class 2A and 1A semifinals


MINNEAPOLIS — The 2024 Minnesota (MSHSL) girls high school basketball state tournament continues on Friday, March 15 at Williams Arena.

Class 2A and Class 1A play their semifinals. 

Score updates, recaps and other news and notes will be updated on this page throughout the day. 


Class 1A Semifinals

Goodhue 62, Underwood 53

Elisabeth Gadient led Goodhue with 22 points, and Kendyl Lodermeier contributed 16 points. Underwood's Elizabeth Lukken led all scorers with 24 points. 

Mountain Iron-Buhl 69, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart 50

Jordan Zubich popped for 31 points on 11-of-20 shooting, and the Rangers popped for 20 points in the first half. 

Lily Hubin led Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart with 18 points.


Class 2A Semifinals

Providence Academy 92, Crosby-Ironton 54

Providence Academy shot 56.7 percent in the game, and Maddyn Greenway scored 30 points.

Crosby-Ironton shoots 30 percent in the loss, and loses the turnover margin by 10. Tori Oehrlein scored 35 points. 

Albany 60, Minnehaha Academy 52

LIVE GAME UPDATES

Albany's strong second half propels it to the state title game. The Huskies outscored the Red Hawks 34-23 in the second half. Alyssa Sand gave the Huskies 20 points. Addi Mack scored 25 for the Red Hawks.
