Here are the candidates for SBLive's Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 6-11 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Jay Baxter, Stockton boys basketball

In a Southwest Conference game, the Tigers picked up a 69-40 win over Diamond behind Baxter’s 25 points and 10 rebounds from the 6-foot-5 senior.

Camden Bennett, St. Joseph Lafayette boys basketball

The Missouri Western commit had 27 points in a 71-65 win over St. Joseph Benton on Tuesday.

Cassidy Benwell, North Point girls wrestling

She became the school’s first back-to-back district champion and qualified for the state meet.

Myra Claas, Tipton girls basketball

Nearly outscored East Buchanan in a 62-31 win on Saturday by scoring 28 points.

Darin Conley, Pembroke Hill boys basketball

In a 63-46 win against St. Michael the Archangel the Ball State football signee had 21 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks.

Abigail Fuglsang, Camdenton girls wrestling

The Class 2 District 3 100-pound champion secured a pin in the finals in Ozark and improved to 43-0 on the season.

Charlie Gregg, Holden girls wrestling

She qualified for state at 140 pounds in the Class 1 District 3 meet and picked up her 100th career win in the quarterfinals.

Noah Hall, Linn boys basketball

The junior scored 34 points and hit eight 3-pointers while grabbing 10 rebounds

Breona Hurd, Waynesville girls basketball

Virginia pledge scored 24 points in a 57-40 loss to Rolla in an Ozark Conference game but went over 1,500 points in her career during the contest.

Jadis Jones, New Madrid County Central boys basketball

The junior scored 23 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in a 57-47 win over Jackson on Friday for the Eagles.

Jake Lafferty, Sparta boys basketball

The 6-5 junior had back-to-back doubles for the Trojans last week with 40 points and 16 rebounds and then 37 points and 15 rebounds.

Bailey Ledford, Joplin girls basketball

She scored 17 points, 15 of which in the second half and overtime, in a 52-46 win over Springfield Central on Wednesday.

Lauren Mills, Festus girls wrestling

She improved to 35-0 on the season with a title run at the Class 1 District 1 meet at the 125-pound class.

Dy’Anna Nicholson, Raytown South girls basketball

Recorded a rare double-double with 12 points and 12 assists in a Suburban Conference Blue Division win against Excelsior Springs.

Iziah Purvey, Webster Groves boys basketball

Nearly had a double-double by scoring 26 points and adding nine rebounds in a 53-48 win over University City on Wednesday.

Aaliyah Sanders, Odessa girls wrestling

Went 3-0 to take first at 115 pounds at the Class 1 District 4 meet, becoming the Bulldogs’ first girls wrestler to win a district crown.

Kyla Schnurbusch, Perryville girls basketball

Became the school’s 12th girls player to eclipse the 1,000th-point mark in a game against Jefferson (Festus) on Wednesday.

Kate Sell, St. Pius X girls basketball

The freshman hit nine 3-pointers in a 53-31 win over Cameron to break a school record in a Midland Empire Conference game.

Nolan Simon, Whitfield boys basketball

In a 65-64 win in overtime against Hazelwood Central, Simon hit a half-court shot at the end of regulation to tie the game and finished with a game-high 34 points.

Sterling Vinson, Springfield Central boys basketball

A senior guard, Vinson broke the school’s single-game scoring record with 47 points in a 91-82 win over Republic on Friday. The previous record was 43 points by Darius Ellis in 1994.

Addison West, Laquey girls basketball

She recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds in a 61-51 win over Stoutland.

Zoey Williams, West Plains girls basketball

The Zizzers moved to 6-0 in Ozark Conference play with a 73-34 win over Waynesville behind 23 points from Williams.

Brady Wolf, Orchard Farm boys basketball

Became the school’s all-time boys leading scorer by surpassing the 1,539-point mark.

Marlie Wright, Greenfield girls basketball

The Wildcats improved to 16-5 with a 59-23 win over Everton behind Wright’s 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
