Class 4 boys semifinal: John Burroughs 46, Logan-Rogersville 42

CLASS 4
Class 4 boys semifinal: John Burroughs 46, Logan-Rogersville 42
John Burroughs is headed to the state championship game for the first time since winning the Missouri Class B championship in 1953.
Junior forward DJ Johnson scored a team-high 11 points off the bench for John Burroughs (27-4). Sophomore forward Tristan Reed had nine points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Senior guard Ramzi Salem scored eight points.
Freshman point guard Chase Branham led Logan-Rogersville (27-4) with a game-high 17 points and five assists.
The Bombers took control of a back-and-forth game in the final minutes as they outscored the Wildcats 10-4 in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore forward Tristan Reed had seven points and seven rebounds in the first half as Burroughs led 29-24.
Burroughs junior guard Owen Walther knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter to help the Bombers earn a 12-11 edge after one quarter.
Class 4 boys semifinal: Vashon 69, KC Central 52
Freshman guard Jimmy McKinney III scored a team-high 16 points off the bench as Vashon clinched a spot in the Missouri Class 4 championship game with a win over Central.
Senior guard Nassir Binion scored 15 points for Vashon (25-6), while junior guard Trey Williams Jr. scored 12 and junior forward Nicholas Randall added 10 points, 13 rebounds and four blocked shots.
Senior guard Brandon Moore scored a game-high 23 points to lead Central (23-7), while senior guard Timothy Wooden Jr. added 17 points.
McKinney scored eight points in the first half to lead the Wolverines to a 37-23 advantage at halftime.
CLASS 6
Class 6 girls semifinal: Kickapoo 56, Cor Jesu 37
Kickapoo junior guard Mikayla Pilley scored a game-high 18 points to lead Kickapoo back to the Missouri Class 6 championship game for the second time in three seasons.
The Chiefs (30-1) got 13 points apiece from senior guard Kya Johnson and junior guard Mikayla Smith and 10 points from sophomore guard Josie Salazar. Johnson grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Lauren Ortwerth led Cor Jesu (20-9) with 10 points and five rebounds.
Pilley scored seven points in the first quarter as Kickapoo built a 14-8 lead. Cor Jesu got five points from Makenzie Van Bree.
Pilley scored 14 points in the first half to lead all scorers.
Class 6 girls semifinal: Incarnate Word 65, Rock Bridge 41
Junior guard Nevaeh Caffey scored a game-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and five steals as Incarnate Word recorded its 130 straight victory and earned a spot in Saturday's title game.
Senior forward Zoe Best added 15 points and seven rebounds for Incarnate Word (30-0) and junior guard Peyton Hill had 10 points and four assists. Senior forward Abbie Sextro had seven rebounds.
Junior guard Elli Porter led Rock Bridge (25-6) with 10 points, while junior forward Malia Chievous scored nine. Sophomore forward Jayda Porter had five points and 12 rebounds.
Caffey scored 13 points in the first half and Zoe Best added 11 as the Red Knight built a 29-11 lead at the intermission.
Rock Bridge outscored Incarnate Word 13-11 in the third quarter, but the Red Knights pulled away in the fourth with a 25-point quarter.
Class 6 boys semifinal: Cardinal Ritter 70, Springfield Central 59
Cardinal Ritter will play for another state title.
The Lions, led by 20 points from senior guard Quenton Parker, took care of business in Friday's semifinal and will have a chance to win a second straight state title after moving up to Class 6.
Derrick Rivers II and Clayton Jackson each scored 12 points and Nashawn Davis added 10 for Cardinal Ritter (20-11). Jackson dished out 10 assists.
Central (24-7) got 14 points from TayShawn Wells, 13 from Tyrique Brooks and 12 from Keion Epps.
Class 6 boys semifinal: Chaminade 65, Oak Park 55
Chaminade is headed back to the state championship game for the first time since finishing second in Class 5 in 2018.
The Red Devils (22-9) got 17 points and 11 rebounds from sophomore forward Jahadi White and 12 points and 18 rebounds from junior guard Collin Perry. Colin Keller, a junior guard, scored 11 points with three 3-pointers. Sophomore point guard Johnny Jordan added 10 points.
Junior guard Corbin Allen led the Northmen (27-3) with 17 points, including 14 points in the first half. He also had a team-high 12 rebounds.
