Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Central North Carolina high school offensive football player of the week for Oct. 16 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Jayden Williams, Butler: Williams ran for 139 yards and two touchdowns and also had 30 receiving yards in a 24-21 win over Charlotte Catholic.

Markel Summers, Davie County: Summers ran for 243 yards and three touchdowns in a 50-42 loss to West Forsyth.

Kendre Harrison, Reidsville: Harrison had five receptions for 102 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-0 win over Walkertown.

Randy Fulmore, Mooresville: Fulmore had seven receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-3 win over West Cabarrus.

Jake Simmons, North Surry: Simmons finished with 197 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 53-7 win over West Wilkes.

Blake Peters, Ashe Central: Peters completed 34 of 46 passes for 407 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-22 loss to Freedom.

Anthony Hawkins, Hickory Grove: Hawkins ran for 352 yards and five touchdowns in a 54-28 win over Asheville Christian.

Ian Cline, Providence Day: Cline ran for 261 yards and four touchdowns in a 47-13 win over Charlotte Christian.
