Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Western North Carolina high school offensive football player of the week for Oct. 16 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. Voting will conclude on Saturday, October 21 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Josh Collins, Swain County: Collins ran for 265 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-13 win over Murphy. He also had three sacks.

Isaac Brown, West Gaston: Brown ran for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-42 win over East Gaston.

Dazion Murray, Chase: Murray ran for 105 yards and four touchdowns in a 70-26 win over Polk County.

Caleb Jenkins, Asheville School: Jenkins ran for 159 yards and four touchdowns in a 36-31 win over High Point Christian.

Levi Shelton, Madison: Shelton ran for 229 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-21 loss to Avery County.

Jed West, Tuscola: West threw for 137 yards and a touchdown and ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-10 win over Pisgah.

Brandon Quinn, Mountain Heritage: Quinn ran for 242 yards and a touchdown and also had a passing touchdown in a 28-14 win over Mitchell.

Jason Willis, Bunker Hill: Willis had 322 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 49-9 win over Maiden.
